The first one is that DataFeedr works only with wordpress. Which means your website or blog needs to be based on the wordpress platform. It is quite understandable why DataFeedr would make wordpress the base for their software but for those who do not have wordpress based websites or blogs, then you cannot install DataFeedr. It is better you install wordpress first and then subscribe to this service.

The other thing you need to know is that you have to first get membership in the affiliate networks of your choice. So to get started, register in clickbank.com, shareasale.com or cj.com and then DataFeedr can pull products with your own affiliate link. Also while some networks like clickbank.com do not require you to apply once again for individual products, some networks like cj.com will make you apply for approval to each and every product you want to promote. So, what’s phishing? Phishing is when someone wants to steal your private information like username and password. There are lots of methods of phishing, and we will share with you all of them .

Email phishing – when someone sends you an email with convincing text to go to your paypal account or ebay account, when you are clicking the link, you redirected directly to the scammers web page. So you are the unlucky fish cought by the phisher. Phishing landing page looks exactly like your ebay login page or your paypal login page, once you entered your username and password, your information is sent to the phisher and he can easily deposit all your bank account cash to his account for example. So how to avoid it, before you are leaving your information to someone, in our case ebay phishing page for example, check out it’s domain name on your browser address bar , it should be www.ebay.com and not www.ebay.com.tw or something.

Another example when someone sends you the link with text “check out this funny picture” on twitter, once you click on this link you’ve been redirected to the “twitter” login page, once again , it will be phisher landing page.real twitter login page url should start with www.twitter.com or twitter.com

Beware, check 1000 times before you are living your private information somewhere.

First we will create errorpage.html file , you can use your html or css methods to do that. 

create file called errorpage.html in your server root or create file on your desktop and upload it to your server, then edit. 

Type this code in your errorpage.html file , we didn’t define headers and body standards, but you can do it ,  any design could be used.

Open .htaccess file and type the code below :

That’s it ! Save your .htaccess file , now go to any “not existing page” just type some mess in your browser url , you will see custom error file ! Congrats , now we know how  to deal with server errors manually.

Twitter button allows to your visitors to tweet every single post. That’s cool enough right ? There are some free widgets available over the net. Tweetmeme.com button for example, but when you are using tweetmeme button , you are automatically retweet tweetmeme.com I don’t want to retweet tweetmeme and probably you also don’t want to retweet them. So let’s create our twitter button from scratch.

First we need button image actually. You can use our happy bird : just save it on your desktop.

Ok, let’s do it :

• Upload this image to your server root
• Login to wp-admin, click appearance, click editor, on right menu find single.php file, click on it

Yes, he forgot to close double quotes. Thanks to MySQL error functions, insertion wasn’t done to mysql and it had shown an error.

Magic quotes comes to solve this problem, there are other better methods probably, but it is quiet good for simple applications without complicating string editing functions.

So how to deal with Magic Quotes ?

First we should check if magic quotes are enabled. There are two methods to do that. You can check from code typing

The second method also could be done from code :

The second method will execute and print basic server PHP configuration information, browse through file and find magic_quotes it should be on or off.

Most of the hosting companies enable magic_quotes function in server php.ini by default.

Lets create simple example on how magic_quotes work.

Make sure you backupped your original “wp-login.php” file on your computer or your server.  Change your default wp-login.php with attached one.

First create category “videos” and post at least one video from youtube or any other flash video.

Now we will need “video” category id before we will start PHP coding of our sidebar, login to your wp-admin, click on posts, categories , you will see categories list, click on created video category.

In your browser address field you will see something like that : http://penguinationproject.com/preview/wp-admin/categories.php?action=edit&cat_ID=3

Category id number  is 3 (cat_ID=3).

Now when we know our category id , let’s start coding.

Click on appearance in your left admin menu, click edit , you will see files list on right menu. Click on sidebar.php

Find html code  <div id=”sidebar” role=”complementary”>

After this code and before <ul> tag starts insert PHP code below , we commented inside of code where you should add your category id number.

Now save the file , go to your wordpress blog’s  homepage , You will see most recent video on your blogs sidebar .
